GRD provides technical support to determine requirements for new crypto developments and replenishment efforts. GRD systematically considers requirements and alternatives for injecting new technology, providing recommendations to technical committees, and ultimately generated specification and integration requirements and schedules. GRD provides technical data and specification configuration control and coordination for KG-40 replenishment.GRD provided prototyping of an AIRTERM Interface Unit (AIU), which integrates the KY-100 AIRTERM into the Navy Single Audio System (SAS) for surface ships and non-SAS for submarines.
